Throughout legal career – volunteer provider of free legal services through Knoxville Legal Aid.

Lindquist Appalachian Environmental Fellowship (LEAF) Co-founder & Legislative Director. LEAF is a Christian, creation care group. Principal lobbyist for the Tennessee Scenic Vistas Protection Act, a bill to stop mountain top removal coal mining in Tennessee in the 2008 and 2009 session of the Tennessee General Assembly.
